From Canada – New Report from Burnaby Mountain Secondary School
Now a new updated report from an exchange student at Burnaby Mountain Secondary School in Canada reached us, which is very informative, impressive and insightful. It’s our great pleasure to share what she experienced and how she enjoyed it there.
Hello there, long time no see! I hope this report finds you very well. This is Sora from Burnaby Mountain Secondary School in Canada. Around five months have already gone by since I came to Canada. Some friends of mine who finished their five-month studying abroad programs in Canada had the time to return to their own countries. I also cannot but say “good bye” to my friends. So, I gave a picture with my name I took with them as a special gift to my close friends. Of course, I put a message on it. She is from Spain, so I wrote my message for her in Spanish. And then, she said to me, “This is sooo cute. I love it and I love you.” She gave me a huge!! I now miss her very much:( And, one of my close friends from Russia will get back to their own country too. So, I’ll go to the airport and say, “Give me a kiss.” Hahaha…
Now let me change my topic. I’m going to report about my recent field trip. I made a school trip on January 16th to play “laser tag” game. The field trip was arranged for all of the international students in this school. If you are an international student, anyone can apply to this trip. I thought it must be a very good opportunity to make new friends, so I decided to sign up to it.
The day of the field trip was Wednesday. When you joined this field trip, you were allowed not to attend classes, which means that you were present at school. So, my friends said, “I want to join this trip every day!” Yes, I agreed with them very much.
Do you know what a game of laser tag? I had not known what laser tag is before I joined this trip. It is like kind of a shooting game. We played two rounds of the game. The first game was an individual war, and the second one was something like a war between groups. It was very fun and exciting. I could make new Korean and Germany friends during the game. But unfortunately, my game skill was so poor, so, I lost all of the two rounds. My teacher said, “You did a great job for me. So, I want to try to do it again.” However, maybe I will lose the game again. If I could win the game, I’ll report about this laser tag game again.
Thanks for reading my report. Bye:))
