留学レポート_from アメリカ・テキサス

アメリカ・テキサス州ダラスの高校に1年間留学をしている本校高校1年生_森武　理衣奈さんからの留学レポートが届きました。この昨年の9月からの留学で、すっかりアメリカの生活にも慣れ、ホストファミリーや友達にも恵まれ、充実した留学生活を送っているようです。

とにかく生活を楽しむのがテキサス流の生き方。何事にも大きくゆったりと構えて、ポジティブに生きるグレート・テキサンズ。私たちが学ぶところはたくさんあります。

Hello, there everyone!  How are you doing?  I am pretty good!!

I had an experience of doing trick or treat on the end of October.  Yes, it was Halloween Party!  I was so excited at this super great Halloween.  Everyone wore funny and tricky costume and I wore Jasmine costume, which made me feel like being an American.  I had a lot of experience which I don’t have in Japan here during Halloween. 

And in November, we had “thanksgiving!”  Here in America we have one whole week break in the season of Thanksgiving.  So, we didn’t have schools. We ate a lot of food and had long sleeps during this thanksgiving break.  During this break we went to Dallas Fort Worth downtown.  There was a big Christmas tree, which I found so beautiful.  People waited for Christmas to come soon!

December has the month of a lot of events. LOL!!  I had a dance performance in my school.  I danced ballet dance.  I think I could dance ballet so well.  Of course we did Christmas party.  We made dinner.  I myself made cookies, cupcakes, pastas and something else.  We invited a lot of friends to our party, so there were many people on the night.  At the next morning we got up early to open the presents.  They gave me a concert ticket!  I was very happy at the present!
