ターム留学レポート⑦_From St. Andrew’s

セントアンドリュースに留学している片山　みらいさんのレポートです。ターム１の終了。ケアンズは夏から秋へ、少しだけ悲しい、さみしい気持ち。そして、まもなく満開の桜が待つ春の東京へ帰ります。

St. Andrew’s 留学レポート　- 16th March to 30th March – 

It’s been sunny in Cairns.  The day when I have to go back to Japan is approaching and there is only one week left.  

This week is Exam block in St. Andrew’s for grade 11 and 12.  So last Friday was the last day for me to join classes with my friends. I feel that these three months have passed really quickly. One day at school was really short and I actually find fun times fly so quickly.

The memories in St. Andrew’s are treasured. I am very thankful to my family and St. Andrew’s teachers and friends. I am really thankful to my host family, too. I hope I can enjoy the days that I have left.

Last weekend, I went to White Water Rafting with my host sister and Eri. I really wanted to go rafting so I was really looking forward to it. Rafting was fun and I had really good time! I am really happy that I could go with my host sister Rhiann and Eri. This Rafting experience will be one of my greatest memories in Australia.

最近は雨も降らず、毎日が快晴です。日本への帰国の日も近づき、オーストラリアへの留学期間もあと一週間ほどになってしまいました。セントアンドリュースでは、今週はExam blockでみんなは試験を受けるため私はミドルスクールの日本語クラスのアシスタントに行きます。そのため、先週の金曜日はみんなと一緒に授業を受ける最後の日でした。本当にあっという間の三か月間だったなと思います。朝学校に行ってみんなと会ってから放課後みんなと別れるまでの時間がとても短く感じ、楽しい時間は本当に早く過ぎてしまうなと毎日感じていました。セントアンドリュースでの思い出は宝物です。こんなに素敵な体験をするチャンスをくれた家族、そしてセントアンドリュースの先生方やクラスメイト、友達、ホストファミリーに本当に感謝をしています。残りの一週間も充実したものにしたいと思います。

先週の週末には、ホストシスターのリアンちゃんと雨宮さんと一緒にホワイトウォーターラフティングに行ってきました。少し怖かったですが、それは最初だけでとても楽しかったです。また、リアンちゃんと雨宮さんと一緒に行きたいです。 この体験も私のオーストラリアでの素晴らしい忘れられない思い出の一つとなるでしょう。
