From St. Andrew’s_セカンドターム留学レポート⑧

本校オーストラリア姉妹校、セントアンドリュースカレッジへのセカンドターム留学。学期末です。共有した時間の長さを振り返る時。その人たちと生活して、その人たちと言葉をかわさなければ、絶対に得ることができないものがあると確信する時。そして今、彼女たちは大妻中野の生徒でもあり、セントアンドリュースの生徒にもなりました。

Hello. I am spending my very last week in Cairns.

With my friends in St. Andrews, we spent our time not just in school but the Roller Skating Link, the beach, the esplanade, shopping centre, cinema, and so on. Last week, we went snorkeling at the Fitzroy Island. .Luckily, we met 2 turtles.

While everyone else was taking their exams, Chiaki and I helped with teaching Japanese to the junior students. They seemed enjoying earning Japanese, and they were making some presentation.  It was about some kanji, Japanese songs, and they made some great speeches.

St. Andrews is such a wonderful school. I am so proud of myself being part of the school.  Difficult and happy memories, both are my treasures.  I am really thankful to my host family, school buddy, friends, and the teachers for giving me such chance in Australia.   My next goal is to come back to Cairns.

こんにちは。とうとう残りが一週間となってしまいました。

セントアンドリュースの友達とは、スケートリンク、映画館、ショッピングモール、海など学校以外でも色々な場所で時間を過ごしました。先週はフィッツロイアイランドでシュノーケリングを体験しました。運がいいことに、亀を二匹見つけることができました。

みんなが試験を受けている間、私と和田さんは一週間、prepからyear5までの日本語の授業に参加しました。みんなは本当に日本語が大好きで、日本語のアセンブリーでは、漢字、スピーチ、日本語の歌などを発表していました。

セントアンドリュースは本当に生徒一人一人のことを大切に思っているいい学校です。この学校の一員になれたことを誇りに思います。本当にあっという間の三か月でした。辛かったことや嬉しかったこと、全てが宝物です。ホストファミリー、スクールバディ、先生方、本当にありがとうございました。私の目標は、ケアンズに戻ることです。
