From New Zealand – No. 5

From New Zealand – Tuesday, July 28th.

In the morning we had a maori welcoming ceremony.  We were invited into the marae and had an exchange with the maori class.  Principal Jenny Ellis was there and made a welcoming speech.  In class we learned about cooking and giving directions.  In the afternoon we had a mission impossible game.  Students had to finish task to receive points.  We went to the park, main street, the museum and the beach.  It was a fine day today, so everyone enjoyed it!  Tomorrow students will attend New Plymouth Girls' High School classes with their buddies.  Good luck to them!!

今日は、マオリ式の歓迎セレモニーとマオリ・クラスとの交換会。歓迎式では、ジェニー・エリス校長先生からのスピーチもいただきました。午後も様々なゲーム。たくさん楽しんで、明日はいよいよニュープリマス高校の授業に参加します。
