From New Zealand_Another report on Term 2 at New Plymouth GHS_May 10th 2016

This is another report from New Plymouth Girls High School in New Zealand.  Shino Koyama, another current 10^th grader of Otsuma Nakano has kicked off her term long study program since the beginning of May.   We are also very highly of Shino’s good job in New Plymouth.  Every single word on her report tells her excitement there. Here we go!

Hello, there!  I'm Shino Koyama.  I came here on the 29th of April.  I was tired because our plane was late. But my host family was kind to me, so I forgot my fatigue.

I play with my host sisters every day, such as playing the trampoline and ball games. It is good exercise good for my health!  

I can go to the beach very soon because my host family's house is near the sea! I like New Plymouth's beach! Also if it's sunny, the sky is deep blue. It is really nice view!

On May 2^nd I went to New Plymouth Girl's High School. It has large square, so I didn't know where I was. I take my lunchbox to school with me every day. It has sandwiches and snacks in it.  The sandwiches are what I make every day.

On May 5th I started my classes! I am taking hospitality and P.E.  I made some Anzac cookies, it was tasty! And I did volley ball in P.E. class. This class I can communicate with Kiwi people! And they are very kind to me. But Science class is difficult for me, because I have to do experiments and write reports about it.

On May 8th I went to Centre City with my Japanese friends. New Zealand's prices are very expensive. But I can buy cheaper things there too. And I could eat sushi there too. The taste was a little different from Japanese sushi. But I could eat Japanese food, so I was so happy!

On May 9th I enjoyed playing badminton after school. It was so fun! I can communicate with everybody, so I like it! My teacher taught us how to play it and told us badminton's rules. So I can understand it! I want to do it well!

こんにちは! ! 小山詩乃です。私は４月29日にニュープリマスにつきました。飛行機が遅れていたので、少し疲れていましたが、ホストファミリーは私にとても優しくしてくれたので、疲れを少し忘れることができました。私はいつも、ホストファミリーの家にあるトランポリンや、ボールを使って、ホストシスターたちと遊んでいます。とてもハードなので、いい運動になります！  また、私のホストファミリーの家は海に近いので、すぐに海に行くことができます。晴れていたら、空がとても広く、また、青がとても濃くて驚きました。

5月2日にNew Plymouth Girl's High School に行きました。私はいつもお弁当を持っていきます。その中に入っているサンドイッチは、自分で作っています。

5月5日に授業が始まりました。私はホスピタリティーと体育の授業をとっています。ホスピタリティーの授業では、Anzac クッキーを作りました。また、体育の授業では、バレーボールをやっています。現地校の人とたくさんコミュニケーションがとれるので、体育の授業はとても楽しいです。しかし、理科の授業は実験やレポートを書かなければいけないので少し難しく感じます。

5月8日にセンターシティーに行きました。ニュージーランドの物価は高いのですが、ここでは少し安くなっていました。また、お昼にお寿司を食べました。日本のものと少し違っていましたが、とても美味しかったです。

5月9日にバドミントンをしました。先生が丁寧に教えてくれたので、すぐにやり方が理解できました。頑張って上達したいです！
