今日も元気に授業に参加しました！

昨日に引き続き、とても良い天気です。

体育の授業では、大きなグラウンド一周のウォームアップから始まります。

今日はラグビーです。

チームで作戦会議をして・・・

キックでスタート！

先生とバディが優しくサポートしてくれます。

キックが成功すると、「イエーイ！！」と皆から歓声が上がりました。

（安全のため、「タックルは無し」というルールでした。）

皆さん、留学生に対して本当に親切にしてくださっています。

社会の授業では、選挙について講義を受けた後、

グループに分かれて、自分たちの架空の政党を作ります。

方針を決めたり、政党の色やロゴについて相談しています。

One of the students played rugby today.  The Otsumanakano student got to kick the ball, and it was really heart warming when everyone said "Yeah!" when she kicked the ball.  People here are all very welcoming and it is really nice to see how the student interact with each other.

Another student was in Social Science class.  It was interesting to see the similarities and differences of the election system between New Zealand and Japan.  It seems that there are many similarities.  The students listened to a lecture, and in the latter half of the class, they worked in groups to make up their own political parties.  In this school, they started to change the teaching style from lecture-based classes to including more group work and projects, to make the students learn more actively.  The same thing can be said about Otsuma Nakano as well.
