From New Zealand-Study at New Plymouth & Scared Heart#01

Away from the heat of summer in Japan, we finally

arrived at New Zealand, which is in winter now.

We met Ms. Teffrey Suzuki at the Auckland airport,

who's been organizing this program and all the

Otsuma-Nakano programs in New Zealand successfully

from the first time.

Although it is a rainy season in New Zealand, the

weather is fine, which makes every one of us happy.

After a long international flight of about 10 hours,

we flew to New Plymouth. There the staff of New

Plymouth Girls' High and Sacret Heart and the host families

have been waiting ffor our arrival.

Each student met her host family and moved to their homes.

Today they have lots of things to ask thier host family about

the family rules.

Now our home-stay program in New Zealand started.

We hope we'll have a good sleep as we're going to kick off

English classes tomorrow.

真夏の日本を離れ、ついにニュージーランドに到着しました。

赤道を越えたこの国は今、冬です。東京では半袖だった生徒の

みなさんも、用意してきた防寒着を早速身に着けました。

10時間のフライトから、国内便に乗るまで間にほんの少し

自由時間とれたので、まずは無事到着の記念写真。

こちらでは雨の多い季節にもかかわらず、天候に恵まれ

少し冷たい風に日差しを浴びるととても心地よく感じられ

ます。せっかくの天気なので、最初のミーティングは

国内線に移動する途中、屋外で行いました。

ニュープリマスへはなんとプロペラ機での移動。

少しびっくりしましたが、あっという間にニュープリマスです。

空港に着くと、これからお世話になるホストファミリーの

皆様がお迎えに来てくれました。ちょっと照れ臭く挨拶したり

いきなりハグしたり、、、。

今日は家につき次第、これから過ごす各御家庭のルール

を聞いてくるのが宿題です。あとは、明日からはじまる

授業に向けて、ぐっすり休みましょう。
