What a precious experience she has been enjoying in Cairns, Australia!!  Now we have received the following updated report from Australia, which shows us how interesting her study at St. Andrew's Catholic College and how exciting her life there with her host family in Cairns with great nature has been.   It would be our great pleasure to share the report by Nanaka Otaki with you all.

 

Hi, I'm Nanaka Otaki with my 4th report from Cairns, Australia! It's been really wet here lately, and some places are even flooded. In this report, I am going to share what I've been up to through the past week!

 

Since the 1st term is coming to an end in couple weeks, a lot of assignments are due recently. A religion report is one of the assignments due next week, and I'm really close to finishing it! It's about the mystery of God and I find it quite interesting. Because I never really had the chance to learn about religion, I feel that my religion class is valuable to me and I've learnt so much from it. 

 

On the weekend, my buddy invited me over to her house to sleep over. It was a lot of fun! On Friday, we took advantage of the rain and played in the pouring rain. It was a lot of fun but weird at the same time because I don't have the chance to do this in Japan. Also, we climbed up a hill right behind her house and I kept on slipping from the mud.  The next day, she took me to the movies and we watched Black Panther. We also did some shoppings together. It was an amazing weekend!

こんにちは！オーストラリアのケアンズに留学中の大瀧菜々花です。最近は天気が悪く、洪水になっているところがある程大雨が降っています。このレポートではこの1週間での出来事を紹介しようと思います！

 

学校では、学期末に近づいているということで、課題を提出しないといけません。その中の一つは宗教の課題で、私はもう少しで終わりそうです！課題の内容は、神の謎について調べていて、個人的にはとても面白いなと思います！ここまで深く宗教の勉強をしたことがないので、宗教の授業はとても貴重な時間です。

 

週末には、バディの家に泊まりに行きました。とっっても楽しかったです！金曜日は大雨が降っていたのを良いことに、雨で滑って遊んだり、バレーボールをしたりして遊びました。また、雨で泥だらけになってた家の裏の丘にも登りました！次の日は、映画館にブラックパンサーを観に行きました。ついでに買い物も一緒にしました。とても楽しい週末になりました！
