From Australia_Report on St. Andrew’s CC_180317
Here comes a new note from Australia which features the final stage of their exchange program at St. Andrew’s Catholic College. One of the exchange students studying for term 1, Yuka Saito, will reports you what has been going on in her life in Cairns.
Hello, this is Yuka Saito. I am in Australia for an exchange. This is the 9th week for me in Cairns. It’s my great pleasure to write about what I did last week. At school, we mostly did our assignments. The end of the term is coming near, so everyone was working hard on them. Almost all of the year 10s of this school only have one test in a term, and there are only few of the subjects which you have to take it. I asked my buddy, and she said that she only had 2 exams for this term. I also asked some other students in my class. Most of them said that they don’t have the exam at all. I was really surprised with the gap between the grading systms in here and those in Japan.
Last weekend, Nanaka and I went to the Cairns central, the biggest shopping centre in Cairns. It was so humongous that I was worried if we won’t be able to go to the shop we wanted to go. We watched a movie, went to many shops, and got some foods. I felt like it was like a minute, but actually we were there for as much as 7 hours!!
There are only 14 days to go. I will try to remember the things that I did here and enjoy spending my precious time here.
