Another final report for Term 2 exchange at Sacred Heart Girls College reached us.  Mayuko shares her final moment with you all.

Hello everyone. I’m Mayuko Mori. An exchange student for one term at Sacred Heart Girls College in New Zealand.  Two months have passed since I came to New Zealand.  I am leading a full life every day here.  In this report, I’ll introduce to everyone my special events on the last Tuesday and holidays.

First, I’ll report about my last holiday event.  We went to a golf course and I played golf with my host family. There were many kinds of golf courses. There were various levels such as from difficult one to easy.  Some difficult levels were being devised with slopes and narrow courses.  If I can’t reach the goal with just one hit, I have to hit more than once. Then, the person who scored the fewest number of hitting wins the game.  The result was I lost… My host mother was the best among us.  At one hole, I hit a ball 24 times to goal it. Probably, that was the reason why I lost. But, It was very fun and good exercise for me.

Second, I’ll introduce the event last Tuesday.  I ate a dinner with the international students. It was a buffet style dinner. I could choose from many kinds of meat and vegetables.  After choosing and pouring my favorite sauce, I had a clerk bake it. There were also fruits, ice cream, pancakes, fried foods etc. I had a clerk bake noodles with beef and pork.  And also, I ate French fry and ice cream. All of them were delicious.  Also, various exchange students such as Japanese, Brazilian, German, came to international dinner. I was able to talk to people from various countries and I enjoyed it very much.

Finally, I have only a little time left to be here. I want to spend every single day without forgetting the gratitude to various people. Thank you for reaching my report to the end.

皆さん、こんにちは。ニュージーランドのSacred Heart Girls College に留学している森 麻結子です。ニュージーランドに来てから2ヶ月が経ちました。私は毎日充実した日々を送っています。今回は先週末と先週の火曜日について紹介します。

まず初めに、先週末の事について紹介します。私はホストファミリーとゴルフ場へ行き、ゴルフをしました。そこにはたくさんの種類のゴルフコースがありました。簡単なものから難しいものまでレベルは様々でした。難しいレベルには坂が付いてあったり狭くなっていたりと工夫されていました。１回打つだけではゴールまで届かないので、複数回打たないと行けません。そして1番少ない回数でゴールした人が勝ちになります。結果、私は負けてしまいました。ホストマザーが私たちの中で1番良いスコアでした。１回ゴールまでに24回かけてしまったことがありました。それが原因でしょう。しかし、とても楽しかったです。

続いて、先週の火曜日の事について紹介します。私はinternational studentと夕食を食べました。バイキング形式の夕食でした。たくさんの種類の肉や野菜から選ぶことが出来ました。選んだ後は、好みのソースをかけて、店員にそれを焼いてもらいました。他にもフルーツやアイスクリーム、パンケーキ、揚げ物などがありました。私は麺と一緒に牛肉と豚肉を店員に焼いてもらい、フライドポテトとアイスクリームを食べました。ほんとうに美味しかったです。　また、日本人、ブラジル人、ドイツ人など様々な留学生がインターナショナルディナーに来ていました。様々な国の人達と話すことが出来てとても楽しかったです。

最後に、私はあと少ししか時間がありません。様々な人たちへの感謝を忘れずに、日々過ごしていきたいです。最後まで読んで下さり、ありがとうございました。
