From Canada, Calgary, Report from Honami Sato at Strathmore High School, 0205.2020

Hello, I’m Sato Honami, studying at Strathmore High School in Calgary Canada.  Now to update my report, I’d like to talk about the event that happened in January.  First, we had Banff trip which was for only international students at the school.  We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days.  In Banff, there were many Japanese in Banff.  It was good that I could go and stay there, enjoying a lot of Japanese restaurants. Also, it was my first time to experience cross-country skiing.  It was difficult to do because it is different from ordinary skiing.

Second, we had a test period late January. I had an English and math test. I was nervous, but I’m glad I did them well. The second semester will start in February.  I’m nervous because new subjects like Social Study and Science, but I’ll do my best.

こんにちは。ストラスモア高校に留学している佐藤穂波です。このレポートでは、1月にあった行事について話したいと思います。1つめに、インターナショナルの生徒だけでのバンフ旅行がありました。2泊3日でした。バンフには、たくさんの日本人がいました。たくさんの日本の料理屋さんがあって食べに行けたので良かったです。また、初めてクロスカントリースキーをしたのですが、スキーと違って難しいかったです。2つめに、1月下旬にテスト期間がありました。私は、英語と数学のテストを受験しました。緊張したけど、うまく出来て良かったです。２月から二学期が始まります。社会と理科が新しく始まり緊張しますが、頑張りたいと思います。留学も半分終わり少し悲しいですが、いろいろなことに積極的に取り組んでいきます。私のレポートを読んでくださり、ありがとうございます。次回のレポートでお会いしましょう。
