Hello, there!!  I’m Honami Sato, studying at Strathmore High School in Calgary, Canada.  In this quick report, I’ll summarize to you what happened in February.

First, the new semester started in February. I had a hard time in every class, because all of them were completely different from the classes I took in the first semester.  Especially in society and science, it is very difficult to learn technical terms in English.  On the other hand, I’m attending a dance class. Everyone is friendly and fun.

Second, we had a week off in February. I went to the Asian market and did some shopping that week.  I’m glad it was very fulfilling. Recently, it’s my daily routine to play A&W games with Japanese on holidays.

Anyhow, I am looking forward to skiing in March.  This is my quick report, but I hope you can learn I am very happy and very well here in Canada.  See you in the next report.

こんにちは。カナダ・カルガリーのストラスモア高校に留学している佐藤穂波です。今回は2月にあった行事について、レポートしたいと思います。

まず、1つ目は、2月から2学期が始まりまったことです。これまでと全部、授業が変わって大変でした。特に、社会と理科が始まり、英語で専門用語を覚えるのに必死で頑張っています。また、ダンスの授業を受けてるのですが、みんなフレンドリーでとても楽しいです。

2つ目は、 2月に1週間休みがあったことです。 その週は、アジアン・マーケットに行ったり、ショッピングに行ったりしました。とても充実していてよかったです。 最近の休日は、日本人でA&Wに集まってゲームするのが日課です。

3月はスキーがあるので楽しみです。クイックなレポートですが、元気で頑張っていることが伝わればいいなと思います。次回のレポートでお会いしましょう。
