帰国小学生英語講座 2学期がonline でスタートしました！

帰国小学生英語講座、2020年度の2学期が、8月29日からスタートしました。この2学期は、1学期、夏期講習に続いてオンラインでしばらく実施をしていきます。

この講座は、本校の19年の帰国生教育の取り組みを小学生にも普及させることを目的に、無料で毎週土曜日に帰国小学生を対象に実施している英語力保持・発展講座です。JOES・海外子女教育振興財団・英語保持教室のスーパーバイザーであり、本校の英語教育、帰国生教育のアドバイザー・服部孝彦先生（大妻女子大学・大学院教授）の監修のもと、本校のネィティブ専任教諭 が指導を行います。

帰国生でなくても、英語を勉強している小学生で、ぜひ帰国生と英語を話してみたいという生徒も歓迎します。（英語力の確認をさせていただきます）

講師は本校専任教諭、Willie Vickers先生。アメリカ・オクラホマ州出身。アメリカの公立学校で社会、歴史、経済学などを指導。その後、本校の専任教諭に着任。Creative writing, debate, 模擬国連指導を担当。熱意溢れる親切な指導がモットー。

実施要項は以下の通りです。

・対象：海外帰国生及び国内インター等に通う小学5，6年生。4年生以下の参加もできますのでご相談下さい。女子のみの参加になります。

・受講料：無料 (教材費はご自身で購入いただきます)

・講座内容:　英語力の保持に有効な「読む、書く」ことをバランスよく取り入れてレッスンを行います。また様々なアクティビィティを通して、楽しく勉強します。

【Teacher’s Message】

Welcome to Otsuma Nakano! My name is Willie Vickers and I will be teaching this elementary English Retention class. In this class, students maintain and build the English that they learned abroad as well as prepare for English tests. We will be using an “open curriculum” in this class. We will focus on reading and writing essays, presentations, and speeches. This year this course will be held online via Zoom. I look forward to seeing returning students and new students for this new school year. Let’s enjoy online English lessons together.
