Hello, I’m J. O., studying abroad at Byrne Creek Community school in Canada. The view of the sky is always beautiful. It was not piled up, but some snow fell recently.  Now, in this report I’ll talk about what happed to me this January.

The first thing is about this semester’s class. I’m taking cooking class and math this semester. I cooked all kind of foods in cooking class. I made brownies, crepes and fried chickens lately. These tasted very good.

I had Graduation Numeracy Assessment before. This test is a math test on computer for graduation from high school in British Columbia. I don’t graduation here, so I didn’t have to take this test, but I wanted to take this test, so I took it. It was little difficult, but I had a good experience. I’m a little sad that this semester will be over soon.

The next, one the way back from school, a man asked me how to get to seven-eleven. At the first, I thought he was a strange man and ignored it. Then I taught how to get there. I was wondering if he got there, but I was happy to help person with English.

It’s been 5 months since I came to Canada. I’ll do my best than ever for the other half of my study abroad life.  Thank you for reading this report.  Stay safe and be well together!

こんにちは、カナダのByrne Creek Community schoolに留学中のJ. O. です。 このレポートでは1月にあったことをお話しします。

一つ目は今学期の私の授業であったことについてです。私はクッキングと数学の授業をとっていて、クッキングのクラスではいろいろな食べ物を作りました。最近ではブラウニーやクレープ、フライドチキンなどを作りました。どれもとてもおいしかったです。

カナダでの勉強では、先日、Graduation Numeracy Assessment というテストを受けました。このテストは、コンピューターで行われる数学のテストで、ブリティッシュ・コロンビア州の高校を卒業するために受けなければならないものです。私は現地で卒業しないので受ける必要がなかったのですが、受けてみたかったので受けさせてもらいました。少し難しかったですが、良い経験が出来てよかったです。もうすぐ今学期が終わるので少し寂しいです。

次に二つ目です。以前、学校から家に向かって帰っているときに、一人の男性が私にセブンイレブンまでの行き方を尋ねてきました。はじめは、一人でしゃべっていたので変な人かと思って無視してしまいましたが、しかし、大丈夫、私は彼にそこへの行き方を教えました。その人がそこに到着したか気になりますが、英語で道案内をできたこと、人の役に立てたことはうれしかったです。

カナダに来て5か月が経ちました。留学生活も残り半分しかないので、今まで以上に頑張ります。読んでいただきありがとうございました。
