From Australia – August 10th, Friday. Day 13
Here comes the sun! (again)
Here comes the sun again this morning. 16℃ in the morning goes up to 26℃ in the afternoon. It’s 100% pure blue sky above us and we can feel cool breeze, which celebrates our last day in St. Andrews. We feel fine and they feel fine. Today will be the very best day for you in your whole lives so far.
Today’s Friday. In St. Andrews, various events went on such as Prep Assembly, Morning tea with new parents and cooking class as sociology. Some of Otsuma Nakano students joined the cooking and tried to make sushi roll and hand-pressed sushi with chicken! A school chef added much vinegar and sugar into sushi rice, which was surprising to us.
During lunch time, all of Otsuma Nakano students performed singing our school anthem and other songs in the school yard in front of many of St. Andrews’ students as the memorial and expressing our gratitude for staying here. Large audience gathered there to see our performance, which made them very excited. We made it!
In the evening, we will have Farewell Party to show our millions of thanks to host-families and teachers of St. Andrews. It will be the biggest night for us all.
